Through this painting, I aimed to combine three separate photos into one cohesive piece. I used two photos I took myself of Zion National Park in Utah and one from the Navajo Reservation in Arizona. The third photo, of the chair, came from a photo of one of the meeting rooms for the U.N. I aimed to bring in the idea of nature being untouchable yet there are systems in place that connect the natural world to industrialized society.
